so starts the first of many to join AEOS and the initiative that will unravel hoenn’s mysteries. “we are prioritizing the approaching METENO for now but once that has been resolved, we expect AEOS to launch at full.”

like any great fire, all it takes it the smallest of sparks. actions that seem inconsequential have spiraled out of control. that is what maldacena has prophesized and what fernando has founds to be true. to what extent is still up for contention, but there is wisdom in caution.

“our world is not alone. likewise, events that are thought impossible, based on a multiversal standard are considered an ANOMALY.”

an easy concept on paper but hard to imagine in practice. thankfully, hoenn has ample examples.

the projections around them reveal articles and known news about certain events. the exploration of the REGIROCK RUINS, the STAR SOIREE, and even some internal notes about THE CLOUD make up the contort sprawl of blue lights and monochromatic colors.

“at this time, we believe them to be the most benign anomalies. consequences of previous anomalies that were left unchecked. ones that were never corrected.”

fernando returns to his desk to change the display. instead of articles, the walls show a map of hoenn, vast in all its grandeur. each SPACE-TIME DISTORTION is marked by a large circle with multiple dots scattered around them.

“and as trainers catch and spread these pokemon, the influence of these anomalies possibly grow.”

the dots start to scatter across the map. it only takes a few seconds for them to swarm all over hoenn.

“how this will affect our world, we do not know, but should they act like a tether for further anomalies, the consequences will only get worse with time.”

“AS PER THE COURSE.” despite revealing the possible consequences, fernando seems unfazed by james’ confession. “to stop trainers from acquiring pokemon is an impossible task. even knowing that it could bring ruin, we cannot subdue our fascination with them.”

the walls change once more as a digital depiction of THE CLOUD and MALDACENA warp around them. it’s not a spot on match by any means but it’s a close enough representative.

“indeed. while a meteor striking our planet is not unfathomable, METENO has been aimed at our planet by artificial means. our current plans of warping it to sea!hoenn will be considered both a correction of the current anomaly while possibly creating a new one for sea hoenn.”
